c) Maximum number of a group member is five (5) including the leader. RM20/USD5 will be

       charged for one additional member and is allowed up to eight (8) members per team only.

 

2. Registration

​

   a) Registration must be done online via INDES2020 website.

   b) Participants are allowed to register more than one project, however, separate registration

       form must be filled in.

   c) The organizing committee reserves the right to accept or reject any application without

       clarification.

   d) Registration is only valid once the payment has been made.

 

3. Submission Deadline

​

Interested participants must complete all submissions by 10th October 2020. Please refer to the submission guideline.

 

4. Code of Ethics

​

The following participation are not accepted for this competition:

   a) Duplicating others’ work or plagiarism

   b) Using the work of other participants

   c) Falsifying data or notes

   d) Piracy

   e) Provocation of public’s sensitivity or contain values that are against moral, public health and         welfare

 

5. Video Presentation

​

   a) A 5-minute or less video presentation.

   b) The video must be started with the INDES2020 opening montage and introductory video on          team members (images and name).

   c) Participants are free to choose any information to be included in the video. However, the               information must be related to the displayed product/design/idea. Below are some                         suggestions of the information to be included in the video:

8. Commercialization potential

9. Awards received/publications

6. Certificates/Awards/Medals/Prizes

   

   a) Participants will be scored according to the predetermined criteria.

   b) A digital certificate of participation and award indicating the name of the leader, supervisor           and members of the group will be provided.

   c) Participants will be charged for additional request of medal (gold, silver and bronze only)               Rm 40 each excluding the courier charge.

   d) Request of additional award medal can be made after the announcement of result.

 

7. Participation Fees and Payments

​ 

   a) Once the registration form has been accepted and the registration is confirmed by the                   organizing committee, the participant is obliged to pay the total amount of fees within the             allocated time frame. Please refer to INDES2020 website for further details on payment               method.

   b) All participants must pay the required fees as per category registered. Fees paid are not               refundable.

   c) Any change of name and number of participants shall be notified not later than THREE                 WEEKS before the due date of the competition.

   d) Changes of title and project category are not allowed after closing date.

 

8. Others

​

   a) All result is final; any correspondence about the result will not be entertained. The panel of           judges or the organizing committees are not liable in respect of any matters which arise               from or are connected to the results of the competition.
